A huge thank you to everyone who attended our exclusive visit to Qantas HQ and participated in our Shark Tank Challenge. It was an incredible opportunity to hear from industry professionals, pitch innovative ideas, and gain valuable insight into the future of aviation.

We hope you left feeling inspired, challenged, and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Thank you to Qantas for hosting us and sharing your expertise, and to all our attendees for bringing such enthusiasm and creativity to the day.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, as well as our incredible industry partners who took the time to connect with students, share their insights, and showcase the exciting opportunities available within the aviation industry.

From networking with leading airlines, airports, and aviation organisations to hearing valuable career advice from professionals, it was inspiring to see such strong engagement from students taking the next step towards their future careers.

Join Qantas at Head Office for an exclusive full-day Career Immersion Experience, giving UNSW Aviation students a behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia’s leading airlines.

As part of the NextGen Aviators Program, you’ll take part in:

* Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) Tour
* Speed Networking with Qantas Professionals
* Longreach Centre Cabin Crew Training Tour
* VR Aviation Safety Training Showcase
* Qantas Shark Tank Challenge 🦈

The day concludes with the Qantas Shark Tank Challenge, where teams will develop and pitch an innovative technology or AI-driven business idea to senior Qantas leaders, applying what they’ve learned while building teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

📅 Date: Wednesday 15 July 2026 🕘 Time: 9:00am – 4:30pm 📍 Location: Qantas Head Office, Mascot 👥 Capacity: 40 students

💻 Please bring a fully charged laptop, as teams will prepare a short PowerPoint presentation for the Shark Tank Challenge.
