From all of us at Skate Sydney 🛼💛

Our deepest condolences to Joachim’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

It is heartbreaking to hear that a fellow skater has lost his life doing something he loved being out on the road, moving forward and exploring the world on wheels.

We were especially touched by the beautiful detail of the butterfly found in one of the last photos on his phone. 🦋 It feels like a gentle reminder that, even on his final journey, he was never truly alone.

May Joachim’s memory live on through every roll, every adventure, and every person he inspired along the way.

Rest peacefully, Joachim Andrew Lanham Keep rolling free. 🦋💛

With love and sympathy,
Skate Sydney

We are SKATE SYDNEY! 142 people. One community. One message. ❤️🛼

Thank you to all 142 people who attended WWRD Sydney 2026!

What an incredible day celebrating Worldwide Rollout Day and the message behind it: Roll to Erase Hate. It was amazing to see people from different backgrounds, ages, and skating disciplines come together as one community, proving that kindness, inclusion, and respect are what truly bring us together.

Whether you joined us on inline skates, quads, a skateboard, bike, scooter, or EUC, thank you for making this event so special. Every smile, conversation, and kilometre rolled helped make a difference.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who contributed their time and energy to make this event possible. We appreciate every single one of you.

WORLDWIDE ROLLOUT DAY™️ only happens once a year, with communities around the world rolling together on the same day for the same purpose.

See you all at WWRD Sydney 2027! 🌏🛼💙
