VINYL MOOOTT!!!

It’s been a while since a moot has come out of coogee rovers but safe to say this weekend was a big success all thanks to the wonderful elias 🫶🫶

From the amazing activities to the karaoke to the absolutely pumping dance floor, this moot had it all!

Big ups to daniel and the rest of the catering team for providing michelin star grade food, definitely no complaints for that one (except the chilis from the banh mi night, they were HOT 🥵)

It was a hot weekend for sure, i don’t think anyone has been more thankful for the gorgeous coutts lagoon. It’s not normally this big a hit, especially with coogee around…
Sadly there was no slack line this weekend but don’t you worry, she’ll be back for region next year!!

Thanks to everyone that helped out and everyone that came to hangout for the wekend, it wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. Can’t wait to see you at the next one!!!

Give a man a fish? feed him for a day🍣🍣. Teach a man to fish? 🎣🎣 Feed him for LIFE‼️‼️

Over the weekend, coogee rovers made our way to the other side of the pond for a little fishing trip. We ventured out to mount druitt to take part in the blacktown family fish in.

Since it was the first time for most of us in such an iconic suburb, we started the evening off with a free personal tour of good ol’ mounty county by our favourite local 💕💕. I can assure you we were all in awe being in the EXACT Locations that OneFour filmed their world famous music video for ‘The Message’. We made sure to stop by the iconic and fantastically lit mount druitt sign before heading to the swimming pool for some fishing.

We were all set for our fishing adventure, after we figured out the whole rod wiring situation, we had our very handy fish identification book for all the fish we were about to catch 🎣🎣Unfortunately we were all unsuccessful in catching any fish (or ducks) so i guess it’s good we got dinner before we fished 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Although it was the entirely our fault we didn’t catch anything, the guy next to us totally stole the fish we were about to catch 😫 But don’t worry, we’ll be back and better than ever next time!! Maybe 🤞🤞

Over the June long weekend coogee rovers volunteered at the region gathering at cataract scout camp!! We spent the weekend running the giant swing (which we had mastered by the monday morning). 💪😤

Although we didn’t miss standing in freezing water all weekend I know we all miss our useful water activity base over at camp coutts, we cannot wait to be back running it next year!! 🤭🤭

Overall we had a great weekend like always, everyone had fun!! Also wanna say a huuuge thank you to the vennies that helped us out, can’t wait for you guys to join our unit 🥳🥳🥳

A couple weekends ago Coogee Rovers got to volunteer at Ultratrail Australia 2024!! We had the pleasure to once again help out at the emergency aid station and a couple marshalling spots at the 5kms mark, supporting runners and cheering them on as they completed their runs.

We’re so lucky to have been invited back to this gorgeous spot at kedumba valley!! It did get a little bit chilly but we cannot wait to come back next year (we might even join in on the fun, just gotta start training 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️💨)

The other day coogee rover crew had a painting night!! 🎨💅

We were clearly all super inspired and really let the creative juices flow, turns out our crew is filled with really talented artists (+ daniel 😕)

Coogee Rovers participated in the Anzac Day march again this year, continuing to carry the banner for the HMAHS. Proud to have the honour of carrying the banner on their behalf once again. Lest we forget ⚘️

To make the most out of the remaining summer weather, Coogee is keeping up with all of our canyoning adventures! This time we took on Macquarie Pass and Butterbox Canyon!

Coogee Canyoning is back at it again, this time we headed through one of our favourites spots the Grand Canyon! The majestic canyon never fails to impress as we abseil, hike and swim through chilly waters 🥶 and beautiful scenery. Check out some of the moments we captured!

Just before the holidays Coogee had their annual Christmas party! 🎄As per tradition we were tasked with finding a secret Santa present. The evening was filled with great laughs, presents with inside jokes, a customised guess who game and delicious pulled pork tacos🤤

Coogee outdoor adventures continue at the state alpine school 2023! ❄️⛷️⛄️🏂
Attending the event as the catering team we took on the challenge to feed over 80 people over the course of 1 week! 😱 We also got the opportunity to experience back country skiing with our fellow scouts and downhill at Perisher!
