Upon learning this shocking statistic in November 2011, Patrick Moore flew from Sydney, Australia to South Africa, where a woman is raped every 27 seconds,

and launched One Billion Stronger. Instead of collecting signatures or lighting candles, he decided to collect punches - into a pad, not a person - it's a jab for justice - a salute for strength.
