Introducing a space built for community, connection and participation.✨

Today we proudly celebrated the official opening of new Multi-Sport Courts at PCYC Bateau Bay, joined by PCYC NSW CEO Michael Silman, Mayor John McNamara and community partners who helped bring this project to life.

The space has been transformed into a modern facility where community members can get active and involved in basketball, netball and pickleball. To ensure cost isn’t a barrier, PCYC Bateau Bay is opening the courts free of charge on Wednesdays from 2:30pm to 6pm. 🏀🎾

Thank you to Central Coast Council and NSW Government for making this possible. 🌟

A huge congratulations to our latest Fit for Work graduates from PCYC Lake Macquarie and PCYC Coffs Harbour! 🎉

This month, we celebrated the hard work, growth and determination shown by each participant throughout the program. From developing job-ready skills and workplace confidence to setting goals for the future, these young people have taken important steps towards a brighter future.🌟

Fit for Work helps young people build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for future employment and training opportunities, while gaining valuable industry-recognised qualifications such as a White Card and First Aid certificate. 💙

We're proud to deliver this program with support from the NSW Government, investing in opportunities that empower young people and strengthen local communities.

We're excited to share that the young people at PCYC OOSH Ben Venue Public School have made it into the Top 3 Finalists in this year's Oorala T-Shirt Competition with their design, Connected by Country 👏

Inspired by the ideas and drawings of our young people, this design is a celebration of connection, belonging, culture and community.

This achievement reflects the creativity and dedication of our young people, and the meaningful partnerships we've built with the Oorala Aboriginal Centre, the University of New England and the local community 💛❤️🖤

We’d love your support! Vote for ‘Connected by Country’ via the link below and help our young artists bring their design to life in this year’s competition.
