When she’s not at the Shed, our Sister Kate is an oncology nurse committed to the very best for her patients. Today, she delivered a presentation to the Shed on ovarian cancer and the lack of funding and research for early detection.

1,929 Australians will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year - many of whom will find out once the disease has already progressed.

We’re raising funds to support OCRF’s research into an early detection test of ovarian cancer screening. We need your help to improve outcomes for women everywhere.

Our very own FiS Cancer RN delivered lots of handmade beanies and scarfs to the St George Hospital cancer unit today. Hope they bring some cosiness to the wards this winter.🧣❤️

Last week we partnered with Zonta Club of Botany Bay and Rotary Club of Hurstville to pack and prepare over 400 birthing kits to support women in developing countries with access to a clean and safe birth.

A wonderful day spent together for an incredible cause. 🤝
