Come on down and join us for Bayside Council’s bush care at the Fix it Sisters Shed in Kyeemagh!

We meet every third Thursday of the month to regenerate the bush around the Shed and we’d love to see you there. 🪏🍃

Jean Hailes is proud to be a member of the consortium developing Australia's national clinical guidelines for perimenopause and menopause. If you have lived experience of menopause, here's YOUR opportunity to feed into the development of the guidelines.

The Australian Living Evidence Collaboration (ALEC) is inviting people who are currently experiencing, or who have experienced, perimenopause or menopause within the past three years to share their insights through an online survey.
These findings will help shape clinical guideline topics and guidance for healthcare providers.
The survey takes just 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and there are no right or wrong answers. 💜

This Friday is World Water Monitoring Day, a celebration of communities monitoring their local waterways.💧We marked the occasion with a special FiS water testing of the Cooks River which we send to Streamwatch and Greater Sydney Landcare.

An enormous thank you to everyone who donated to our Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance OCRA fundraiser – together we raised vital funds to drive bold, innovative ovarian cancer research in Australia.

When she’s not at the Shed, our Sister Kate is an oncology nurse committed to the very best for her patients. Today, she delivered a presentation to the Shed on ovarian cancer and the lack of funding and research for early detection.

1,929 Australians will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year - many of whom will find out once the disease has already progressed.

We’re raising funds to support OCRF’s research into an early detection test of ovarian cancer screening. We need your help to improve outcomes for women everywhere.
