PAMAI is honoured and privileged to announce that we have received the confirmation that the Philippine Ambassador to Australia, HE Antonio Albero Morales and the Consul General of the Philippine Consulate in Sydney, Hon. Greg Marie C. Mariño will be attending Pista Sa Nayon 2026.

This much awaited event will be held on June 13 at the Granville Centre, from 10 am to 4pm.

We are also pleased to confirm the attendance of Julia Finn MP, Member for Granville. Alongside our distinguished guests, community leaders, government representatives and stakeholders from across the region will come together to celebrate this special occasion and the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence.

Pista Sa Nayon is a community event free of charge to the public. In addition to meeting and listening to the speeches of some of our dignitaries Pista Sa Nayon, we will have the performances of
Filipino-Australian artists as well as from the other multicultural groups; contests such as Best Filipiniana and Barong, Pinoy Can Jump, Sipa and many other fun games. There will be food stalls
offering Filipino food and drinks.

Everyone is welcome to join us in this enjoyable and memorable celebration. Mabuhay!!!!

Congratulations to PAMAI Vice President (Sr) Violi Calvert for representing PAMAI and Radyo Bayanihan in the Aust Phil Chamber of Commerce Inc - APCCI in the Induction of New Officers and Trade & Tourism Forum, held on May 29, 2026 at Castlereagh Hotel, Sydney.

The APCCI is composed of multicultural business organisations and entrepreneurs. Majority of the officers are from the Fil-Aus community. The first part of the event were the induction of new members and awarding of participation certificates undertaken by Consul Marianne I. Bringas, Jaime Lopez and Jun Capili, with Joel Tungcab as Host. Registration by Len Puzon, Jane Crame and Jose Mari Crame.

The second part was the business and tourism forum, and dinner. The Guest Speaker was Senator Dave Sharma, Australia Federal Shadow Minister. Resources speakers were: Hon Consul Emmanuel Ang (Philippine Trade Representative to Australia); Ms Cassandra Cammongol,OIC of Philippine DOT Sydney; APPCI VP Ext Annabelle Tungcol, CEO Artea Green Ventures PL; Ms Sophie Liu, Chairperson, China-Australia Free Trade Association and Ms Geraldine Ang, Global Head of Sales & Distribution, Hotel 101 PL. Introduction of speakers by Tom Baena and Jaime Lopez.
