On behalf of the Australian Sudanese Coptic Welfare Association (ASCWA), we extend our heartfelt farewell to Rev. Fr. Tony Bouchaaya.
With deep sadness, we say our last goodbye to a remarkable servant of God, whose compassion, humility, and generosity touched countless lives.
Father Tony was a great supporter of our Sudanese community. During the difficult years of war and hardship, he never hesitated to extend a helping hand to Sudanese families and victims in need. His love was expressed not only through words, but through meaningful action, bringing hope, comfort, and practical support to those who were suffering.
His unwavering commitment to serving others, regardless of their background, reflected the true spirit of Christ. His kindness and dedication will always be remembered with gratitude by our community.
We thank God for the gift of Father Tony’s life and ministry. May the Lord grant him eternal rest in His heavenly kingdom, comfort his family, his parish, and all who mourn his passing, and may his memory remain an inspiration to us all.
May his memory be eternal.
