Their insight, stories and courage have guided the design of Mounties Care Cottage.
Where families can breathe, rest and simply be together.

Mounties Care Cottage will be more than a building - it’s hope, comfort, memories and compassion wrapped into one space.

Rio's Legacy beyond grateful and proud to this vision becoming real for the children of NSW.

Together as one both Bear Cottage and Mounties Care Cottage will serve families.

What a weekend ♥️
After being featured on , we’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support for .gift , and .kids

Because of YOU, we are now on the cusp of building the Mounties Care Cottage - a place where families facing the unimaginable can find comfort, care and dignity.

Thanks to the incredible dollar-matching support from the Melissa Lewis Foundation and our amazing community, we’ve raised over $70K for our New York Marathon campaign… and we’re just getting started 🗽🏃‍♂️

As our team prepares to take on the New York Marathon, every donation made to Rio's Legacy is doubled — helping us bring Mounties Care Cottage to life, the first children’s hospice in Western Sydney.

This is when a community comes together and truly looks its finest.

To and .botha your heart, purpose and dedication to supporting .gift and families facing the toughest moment is something that fills me with enormous pride.
Having had the privilege of teaching you both at , it is amazing to see you now embracing other’s and becoming the leaders you are today.

Last Friday when the played the , it was an opportunity for them to use their voice to help build a future where paediatric palliative care is understood, accessible and wrapped in love.

The community came together and through our campaign, Rio’s Legacy was able to raise the most ever for a Super Rugby Match.

To the entire Waratahs family thank you for creating this opportunity. To everyone who volunteered your time, we are so grateful 🙌.

As an educator and now running my son’s charity for those in need, moments like this remind me of why this mission matters - and why people matter even more.

Proud of them. Proud of our Ambassadors. Proud of Cottage. Proud of the legacy my son Rio is building with those that care 🙌 ❤️
