This one is for our Central Coast blokes... A relaxing trip to Brooklyn's Estuary Kiosk overlooking Hawkesbury River - Thursday 29th October.

Licenced and renowned for a menu that matches its superb backdrop, the Kiosk’s burgers and fish ‘n’ chips are ‘a cut above’.

Our 'Blokes on Board' outings are run on the last Thursday of every month as a fun way to get out of the house and connect with other men in your area.

Prices start from $25 transport only for CHSP clients and our door-to-door home pickups and supportive drivers and volunteers make it easy to get on board, so why not give it a try!

RETIRED? HAVE SOME SPARE TIME? WANTING TO ‘PAY IT FORWARD’ TO YOUR COMMUNITY & HAVE SOME FUN?

Hornsby Ku-Ring-gai & Central Coast Community Transport is looking for friendly volunteers to join our weekly social bus outings, supporting older people to live their best lives!

We are a not-for-profit organisation with the sole purpose of improving the health, wellbeing, independence and quality of life for older Australians and vulnerable people.

Each week, we take people to a range of fun and interesting destinations around Sydney and the Central Coast, from museums and festivals to shows, clubs, harbour cruises, markets and more.
As a volunteer, you’ll enjoy all the sites for free and lunch is on us!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

✅ Support clients on and off the bus and throughout each tour.
✅ Ensure everyone is present and accounted for.
✅ Lead & coordinate the day’s outing by liaising with venue, tour & restaurant staff.
✅ Assist clients who need mobility support.
✅ Help clients feel welcome and included.
✅ Have some fun!

Another one for the boys! This month's Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Blokes on Board outing is to one of Sydney’s oldest and most loved corner pubs - The Lord Dudley, Paddington.

Gather a few mates or come along and make some new ones in this cosy, historic hotel complete with fireplace, a superb selection of beers, and classic pub meals.

We'll pick up from your door and drop you back home for an easy day out.

We run our Blokes on Board outings on the last Thursday of each month so watch this space for what's coming up next!

Our buses are heading to the Art Gallery of NSW this month for private guided tours of this outstanding exhibition of Nolan’s work, from indelible visions of the outlaw Ned Kelly to epic portrayals of Central Australia.
