Weaving Circle with Numbulwar's Master Weavers

Join master weavers from the remote community of Numbulwar in South East Arnhem Land for two hands-on weaving circle workshops. Learn traditional techniques passed down through generations and about Maguj (pandanus) and Nanja (repurposed ghost nets) colected from our shores. Once a deadly threat to marine life, ghost nets are reclaimed by the artists and transformed into vessels of story and strength. As you weave, you're part of a living practice connecting people, place, and purpose. Sit with us, share stories, and take part in keeping Culture and Country strong

You can buy your tickets and then secure your spot at the Weaving Circle with Numbulwar's Master Weavers workshop here: https://www.niaf.com.au/workshops

Please note: you must first purchase your ticket to the National Indigenous Art Fair and then add on the workshop booking.
