🇵🇭✨ & Creative Spirit At Pista Sa Nayon! ✨🇵🇭

Last weekend, the FSC NSW team continued our streak of celebrating Independence Day by volunteering at the annual Pista sa Nayon, hosted by (Philippine Australian Multicultural Association)! 🎉🎨

Our space was all about DIY with a design-your-own-badge station! We loved seeing everyone get involved, including our friendly stall neighbours WorldRemit and The Matcha Klub, as well as reps from the Baguio Benguet Adivay Association and TASNI who dropped by to craft with us! 🤝🔥

But tbh, what really made our day was the wave of kids who came up to unleash their inner artists! In the middle of the creative chaos (as you can imagine, heaps of "67" and "41" badges!), we saw the sweetest moments. Thoughtful kids crafted badges for their siblings, while parents and grandparents made them for the little ones who were too shy to step up, or for those not there, as a small fun present! That exact brand of family warmth and care is what is all about! 🥹❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a chat, and made a badge with us. It is always an absolute honour to be part of Pista sa Nayon. Until next year! 🇵🇭💙❤️

What started as a simple idea to bring the Filipino community together through sport has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. This year, over 300 members of the community came together for a day of basketball, volleyball, culture, friendship, and fundraising in support of BANTU Philippines.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, played, and supported the event. Your generosity continues to show the strength of the Filipino-Australian community.

As we wrap up Tulong Liga 2026, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every sponsor, partner, stallholder, and supporter who helped bring this event to life.

Your support helped transform Tulong Liga into more than just a basketball game and volleyball match. Together, we created an experience that celebrated Filipino culture, community, sport, and service while raising $3,834 for Bantu Philippines.

$2,450 raised out of our $3,500 goal for Bantu Philippines through Tulong Liga 2026.

Every ticket, repost, donation, volunteer, player, performer, and supporter has helped turn this into something bigger than just basketball and volleyball.

We’re officially in the final stretch now.
