Thank you to Philippine Times for covering Tulong Liga 2026 and helping share the story behind this year’s event.

What started as a simple idea to bring the Filipino community together through sport has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. This year, over 300 members of the community came together for a day of basketball, volleyball, culture, friendship, and fundraising in support of BANTU Philippines.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, played, and supported the event. Your generosity continues to show the strength of the Filipino-Australian community.

Special thanks to Philippine Times for helping spotlight the impact of community-led initiatives and the importance of staying connected to our culture, heritage, and each other.

As we wrap up Tulong Liga 2026, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every sponsor, partner, stallholder, and supporter who helped bring this event to life.

Your support helped transform Tulong Liga into more than just a basketball game and volleyball match. Together, we created an experience that celebrated Filipino culture, community, sport, and service while raising $3,834 for Bantu Philippines.

A special thank you to our major sponsors and partners: VRNT Productions, FiloHire, Mama Sita’s, Artea Green Ventures, Hoop Sports Performance, PAMAI, Youth Amplified, and TFC – The Filipino Channel.

We would also like to acknowledge PCC NSW, PATTRISCHE ARTS, Filipino Food Movement Australia, FNST, WorldRemit, Department of Tourism Philippines, Paul Blendz, Kliko Photobooth, and everyone else who contributed their time, resources, and energy throughout the event.

Thank you for believing in a student-led vision and helping us create something that continues to unite Filipino students and communities across New South Wales.
