Thank you Lord for the beautiful weather this morning to preach your gospel. We are so blessed to share your Word and continue the mission you have entrusted us to fulfill for your glory. May the love and light of Jesus shine throughout St Mary’s 🙏🏾

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬-‭25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As believers, we have the most amazing, life-changing news to share: the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is both our great and glorious privilege and our mission to share this good news and to point people to Jesus. Friends, we are called to represent Jesus the same way He represented God through Himself when He walked among us. We are called to serve with love, compassion, grace, peace, forgiveness, kindness, gentleness, truth as we walk in and live out the good news of the glorious gospel! 🙏🏾

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭24‬

Today marked the conclusion of our street outreach for 2025 and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude! What an honour it’s been to share the Good News of Jesus Christ another year. By the grace of God we have seen lives transformed, witnessed stories of redemption and formed new friendships through this ministry.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated team: Lina, Steve, John, Simmo, Ray, Selu, Ben, Fei, Judah, Teta, Dotty, Theresa, Christine, our young evangelists Isaac and Zerahiah, and our newcomers Corey, Jayden, Lucas, Kate, Tipu and Nancy.

We look forward to resuming the Great Commission on January 17th, 2026. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! And remember, JESUS is the true reason for the season 🙏🏾

The gospel is the supreme message of hope. It reorients your heavenly gaze. The more you hear the gospel, the more you look heavenward. When you evangelize, you are not only declaring this hope to those far from God but also reminding yourself of it, and the more you internalize the gospel, the easier it is to vocalize it. It gives you a greater appreciation of God’s love manifested in Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection. It then becomes a joyful overflow of your deepening experience of God’s love.

God is glorified when we bear much fruit (John 15:8). As J.I. Packer writes, “We glorify God by evangelizing, not only because evangelizing is an act of obedience, but also because in evangelism we tell the world what great things God has done for the salvation of sinners. God is glorified when His mighty works of grace are made known.”

Evangelism is a potent tool for discipleship because it challenges believers to grow in knowledge, love, and obedience. Once incorporated into a believer’s regular rhythm of life, evangelism creates an explosion of spiritual benefits. And that’s why we do what we do. Praise the Lord for another wonderful oppourtunity to share the gospel with our local community. It is always an honour to serve our Lord Jesus Christ within this ministry that He’s blessed us with. To God be all the glory now and forever more, Amen! 🙌🏾

In Romans 3:23, Paul writes, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” That means you and I—and everyone who has ever lived—have sinned. No one except Jesus Christ Himself is free from sin. Multiple Greek words are translated as “sin” in the New Testament. In this verse, the word is hamartanō, which comes from the Greek words for “missing the mark.”

This describes the human experience of sin. We may try our best to be righteous and do the right thing, yet we still miss the mark. Aiming for righteousness should always be the goal, but it isn’t easy. The “glory of God” describes His perfect and unending righteousness. Not only has God never missed the mark, He is the perfect “mark” for us to look to.

Thankfully, God is not only righteous but also merciful. Knowing how easy it is for humans to miss the goal of His faultless character, God offers us a way to deal with sin. That’s why He was willing to sacrifice Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, to atone for our sins—for your sins. God knows our weaknesses and knows when we genuinely want to repent. He wants us to succeed in our struggle with sin and to become like Him, perfect and holy in all our ways.

Repentance offers the opportunity to be forgiven—it’s the beginning of a lifelong struggle against sin but an essential step in the right direction. You are a sinner. By definition, you have fallen short of the glory that is our perfect God. But that doesn’t mean you have to stay that way. Repent and turn away from the things that keep you from hitting the mark. In so doing, you can start down a path that leads to God’s glory.

Thank you to Isaac, our young and mighty disciple of Jesus Christ, for this timely reminder. 🙏🏾

“Jesus said to them all, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23

Another blessed morning sharing the Gospel with our community! It’s heartwarming to meet and converse with people from various backgrounds and different walks of life. Today we handed out gospel tracts and were able to speak and pray with young people, couples, church goers, unbelievers and even muslims. There’s only one way to heaven and that’s only through Jesus Christ. Sowing the seed one soul at a time. 🙌🏾

We’re so thankful for this ministry that Lord has placed in our hearts to serve Him and pray for the strength to remain bold in our faith.

“This is the day that the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 NKJV

It is a true honor and blessing to serve alongside these dedicated individuals in the Lord's work. Together, we boldly proclaim the gospel and share the love of Jesus.

We continue to intercede for the community of St Marys and trust that God will touch their hearts, guiding them towards repentance and faith in Jesus Christ for their salvation.

The plan hasn’t changed. The Gospel still saves.

From the beginning, God created us for relationship with Him. We were made in His image (Genesis 1:27), formed with purpose, value, and dignity. But sin entered the world through one man (Romans 5:12), and with it came death, separation, and brokenness.

The Fall wasn’t just about Adam and Eve—it’s about all of us. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23). We’ve all gone our own way. And the result? We were cut off from the One who gives life, truth, and peace.

But God.

He didn’t leave us in our rebellion. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ—fully God, fully man—to live a perfect life, die in our place, and rise from the grave (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). At the cross, Jesus took the punishment we deserved so we could be forgiven, restored, and made new.

And here’s the truth many miss: you don’t earn your way back to God. You believe. You don’t clean yourself up first—you come as you are and trust in Christ alone. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8–9)

When you believe the Gospel, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13–14), and your eternal destiny is secure. You begin a new walk—not to earn salvation, but because you have it. And one day, you’ll be glorified—free from sin, full of joy, in the presence of God forever (Romans 8:30).

This is the true Gospel. 📖

Not religion. Not works. Not rituals.

Saved by grace alone.
Through faith alone.
In Christ alone.
According to scripture alone.
For the glory of God alone.
