LAWSKI has been held annually in Thredbo since 1990. The Race is open to all lawyers, paralegals, barristers and judges.

As the mercury falls and the days get shorter, the one upside is that the time has come to turn your minds to the snowy peaks of Thredbo, the Keller and another fantastic Lawyers' Ski and Snowboard Race Weekend. STORY

The Lawyers Ski and Snowboard Race has been held annually in Thredbo since 1990. The event is organised and run on not-for-profit basis by Lawyers Ski Race Inc, an incorporated association. The association’s committee members currently comprise a group of Sydney based lawyers (the Committee) who donate their time to organise the event. The event has grown to the stage where lawyers from all over New South Wales, and interstate, attend the weekend. The race itself attracts nearly 200 lawyers, both skiers and snowboarders, to the starting gate. The event also attracts many non-racing skiers and boarders together with many guests who just enjoy the off mountain events. The weekend culminates with a gala dinner in the Kosciusko Room at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel attended by up to 300 people. More information about the gala dinner can be found here. The event has attracted consistent support from its sponsors, who have, over many years, been key to the success of the weekend.
