2026 Royal Easter show ,Aviary Bird Competition concludes today Friday 10/4/2026.On behalf of the Membership of the ALBS and the exhibitors, we wish to sincerely thank our Committee members for their dedication in running this year's event . Judge Stephen Hornby , Stewards - Colin Isbister ,Natalie Hoskins, Sheryne Sadler and Brian Holdsworth. A strong field of 97 Birds were benched,congratulations to the exhibitors and Award winners.

2026 Royal Easter show

Members interested in exhibiting are advised to download the Schedule, from the Competitons section of the RAS website – Aviary birds .The schedule details the entry process , Classes and requirements for entering birds in this event.

The Aviary Bird Competition , includes African Lovebirds , Budgerigars , Canaries, Finches and Parrots .

Key dates for 2026

Location Hall 3 – Pet Pavilion , RAS Showgrounds,Sydney Olympic Park – Homebush .NSW
Thursday April 9th and Friday April 10th 2026.

Judging Thursday 9/4/2026 , from 9.00am .

Birds will be on public display both Thursday and Friday until 5 pm Friday (10/4/2026) .

Closing day of entries – Wednesday 11 of February 2026 . NB No late entries will be accepted.

Our annual Show is to be held at Castle Hill Showgound , Sunday 2/11/2025 ,at the George Bell pavilion . All Classes - Open, Young and Juvenile .Entries for Club members Close Thursday 30/10/2025.Final details to be Published in the next Club digest and E mailed to members by the Show Secretary .Public viewing after 10am .
