On Sunday 27 September, despite a very rainy afternoon, we came together to celebrate and honour an incredible milestone - 10 years of continuous support and dedication from Shaw and Partners Financial Services With Earl Evans joining us as our guest of honour, we officially dedicated our new trailer in recognition of the longstanding partnership and the significant contribution Shaw and Partners Financial Services has made to our Club over the past decade.

For ten years, Shaw and Parntners’ generosity has supported our athletes, coaches and surf sports programs, helping North Bondi competitors train, compete and represent the Club at the highest level. More than simply a sponsorship, this has become a relationship built on loyalty, friendship and a shared commitment to excellence. We are incredibly grateful to Earl and the entire Shaw and Partners team for their continued support and look forward to celebrating many more milestones together.

What an incredible achievement by Emmeline Henrici! Making history as the first girl to win an event at the CAS Athletics Championships, taking out the boys in the U13 90m hurdles, is a remarkable milestone.

Surf Life Saving Australia's online WHS Awareness and Code of Conduct Awareness courses are now available, with all members encouraged to complete them and Officials particularly encouraged to complete the WHS course.

The free WHS Awareness course covers your WHS responsibilities, practical risk management, reporting hazards and incidents, adapting controls and learning from incidents.

The Code of Conduct Awareness course covers respectful conduct, obligations under SLSA Policy 6.05, and behaviours including bullying, discrimination, harassment and verbal abuse.

Complete both courses online today and help create a safer, more respectful Surf Life Saving community 👉 access via the SLS Hub or the relevant eLearning platform in your state 🔗

At North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, looking out for each other is part of who we are - on the beach, in the water, and in our community.

Today is a reminder to check in with the people around you. Ask the question “R U OK?” and take the time to genuinely listen.

You never know what someone might be going through. A conversation, a coffee, a walk along the beach or simply letting someone know you’re there can make a real difference.
