WOSOC IPP Panel Program Recap
Lots of advice, insights, and also laughs and personal stories shared!
If you can't make it to this event, don't worry. We have summarized a few key points for you. We will have multiple events like this throughout the semester, so make sure to follow us and never miss out again.
1. What does the IPP interview process involve?
→ Applicants generally complete an online interview first, followed by a group interview. For undergraduate students, the group interview is around 45 minutes, although the process may vary depending on the major.
2. What should I expect from the IPP selection assessment?
→ Applicants may complete a 45-minute case study where they need to analyse an issue and propose solutions. The focus is on demonstrating problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
3. What is the best advice for succeeding in the IPP selection process?
→ Be genuine, engaged and interact with others. Recruiters are not only assessing your answers—they also want to understand who you are, how you communicate and how you work with others.
4. What WAM should you have for IPP?
→ A 60–70 WAM is generally considered the bare minimum. Your WAM should demonstrate that you’re coping well academically and can realistically manage an additional placement alongside your studies.
