Welcome to Vision Youth at Macquarie! We are World Vision’s Youth Movement that aims to inspire, educate and empower. This society has been a part of Macquarie University since 2015 and has a strong member-base of 500 students. If you’re interested in advocating for social justice issues, you’ve come to the right place!
Membership is FREE & you can come along to our meet & greets, movie nights and letter writing picnics to meet like-minded people passionate about issues ranging from refugee rights to environmental justice.
Our yearly events include Ethical Easter, where we run games & giveaways whilst raising awareness of ethical sourcing of chocolate. We also have a Birthing Kit Assembly Day to help the Birthing Kit Foundation. Lots more events run throughout the year and are circumstantial, for example, our Kids off Nauru Campaign.
