Shakira needs a foster home for approximately 4 months while she undergoes heartworm treatment. DoggieRescue will cover all treatment costs.

Sebastian and Tink were more than happy to put the soft Chandler kitten litter to the test—and it’s safe to say it earned a big paws-up from our feline residents! 😻

Having quality litter makes a huge difference to the comfort and wellbeing of the cats in our care, and donations like this help us direct more funds towards veterinary treatment, food, and finding loving homes.

Polly is a sweet, affectionate girl with a gentle nature and so much love to give. She came into our care after arriving at the pound with a ruptured cruciate ligament. Thankfully, she underwent surgery and has successfully completed her rehabilitation with us.

While Polly can be anxious in the shelter environment and may react to some dogs when on lead at the shelter, she is a loving and devoted companion who simply wants a place to call home.

Polly has also had a benign mammary tumour removed and is now ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own.

It’s been a wonderful few weeks at DoggieRescue, with several dogs, cats and guinea pigs finding loving homes, and some settling into foster care. Every adoption creates space for us to save another life. ❤️

Embers has been adopted by an active family with older children who are excited to include her in their adventures.💗

Willow has been adopted by a couple who have the skills to develop her confidence 🩵

Faye has been adopted by a couple who had a cattle X DR dog before.

Sweet Bunny has been adopted by a loving family with young children and plenty of time to devote to her.

🐾🧺 DRYING LAUNDRY HELP NEEDED! 🧺🐾

With all this wet weather, we’re struggling to keep up with the mountain of laundry needed to keep our rescue dogs warm, dry and comfortable.

Maddox, Autumn and Denali — are hoping some kind supporters can lend a hand by taking a bag of laundry home to dry.

Even helping with just one load makes a huge difference and allows us to keep fresh bedding available for the dogs in our care. ❤️
