Together, We’re Shaping the Future of Paediatric Cancer Care
Our Kids with Cancer Foundation Team and Board recently had the honour of visiting the new 14-storey building at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, with the completion of construction marking a significant milestone in the opening of a world-class children’s hospital and a major step forward in critical and acute healthcare for children and families.
For families facing childhood cancer, this redevelopment enhances access to exceptional care and specialist treatment, within an environment thoughtfully designed around the unique needs of kids and their loved ones during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
We are incredibly proud that philanthropy has helped make this possible. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our KWCF donors and supporters, we’re contributing $10 million via Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation towards delivering two dedicated levels of paediatric oncology that will care for kids with cancer and their families for generations to come.
This milestone is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when community comes together to help build a brighter future.
We look forward to seeing the doors of the new building open in the coming months and the life-changing impact it will have for kids and families long into the future.
