Important Statement
The Shepherd and Mother of Light Service operates under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the supervision of His Grace Bishop Yolyos, General Bishop of Public and Social Services of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt. The service provides comprehensive care to the most vulnerable groups in Egypt through the Church, and it also manages Misr Al-Mahabba Hospital, which is owned by the Coptic Church.
We hereby affirm that there is no entity or individual authorised to collect donations on behalf of the Shepherd and Mother of Light Service or Misr Al-Mahabba Hospital, whether inside Egypt or abroad, except through the officially recognised partners who diligently support these services.
The Shepherd and Mother of Light Service and Misr Al-Mahabba Hospital express their deep appreciation for the partners and supporters who contribute to the Church’s mission in serving its children in Egypt. We also declare that we bear no responsibility for any organisation or individuals who exploit the name of the Shepherd and Mother of Light Service or Misr Al-Mahabba Hospital to solicit donations.
May God strengthen us all to work faithfully and diligently in serving the poor and the needy in our beloved Egypt.
