City Farm Lovers supports the establishment of a City Farm in Sydney Park, St Peters, and other urban farming and sustainability initiatives in Sydney. A City Farm is a place where we can come together as a community to grow food (using organic principles), learn about environmentally sustainable practices and more. City Farms are vibrant centres of learning and community participation for childre

n and adults, and showcase best practice eco designs modelled on other city farm projects around the world. We are a group of dedicated volunteers whose purpose is to generate support for city farms and urban sustainability in Sydney. We started as the Sydney City Farm Community group in 2007, and approached City of Sydney in 2009 with the idea of setting up a City Farm in the Sydney LGA. We supported all the stages that have led to the establishment of the City Farm in Sydney Park and wound up this organisation in August 2015, when we were sure the City Farm in Sydney Park would go ahead.
