Ahead of the release of his new album The Alison Bend tomorrow, Perry Keyes joined Vinny on The Outpost today for a very special interview. He opened up to Vinny about what might be his most personal album to date, chronicling a tragedy in his own life, the grief and the aftermath of what transpired afterwards. This is a rare chance to hear an in-depth conversation with the legendary and reclusive Sydney-centric songwriter.

Wild Bill Davison, called Wild Bill because of heavy drinking and womanising, was an American jazz cornetist who emerged in the 1920s playing the music of Louis Armstrong. He's best remembered for his association with bandleader Eddie Condon, with whom he worked and recorded from the mid-1940s until Condon's last concert at the New School for Social Research in New York in April 1972.
