Asalamualikum
Dear
Community Members
On behalf of DAWA and the entire DAWA Hyderabadi Community
It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we express our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the innocent victims of the Bondi tragedy. This devastating incident has deeply shaken our hearts and consciences. As a community, we are collectively grieving, and we stand united with those who have suffered an unimaginable loss during this dark and painful time.
We are truly sorry for the lives taken so brutally and unjustly. Such acts of cowardly violence have no place in our society, no legitimacy in any faith, and no acceptance within humanity. They stand in absolute contradiction to the values of peace, sanctity of life, and compassion that we uphold as a community.
DAWA stands firmly with with the victims of this tragedy and as community has decided not to attend the funeral prayers of these people who carried out this heinous act. Those who deliberately targeted innocent men, women, and children do not deserve honour, sympathy, or respect. Their actions warrant unequivocal condemnation, not reverence.
The impact of this tragedy has been felt deeply across the entire DAWA Hyderabadi community. In response, and as a tangible expression of our solidarity and shared humanity, DAWA is taking the initiative to organise a blood donation drive for the victims. We will be liaising with the Australian Red Cross to facilitate this drive, so that we may offer practical support to those who are injured and in need.
We sincerely encourage all eligible community members who wish to participate in this noble cause to register their interest by contacting any DAWA team member at the earliest possible time. This is a moment that calls for unity, compassion, and action. Now more than ever, we must stand together as one community and demonstrate that humanity, empathy, and justice will always prevail over hatred and violence.
May the souls of the innocent victims rest in eternal peace, and may their families be granted strength, patience, and comfort in this time of profound grief.
