We never know what tomorrow may bring.

With so much news of disasters and so many things beyond our control, we can still take the steps within our reach: prepare as best we can and seek Allah’s protection.

May Allah keep hardship away from us. And if we are destined to face trials, may He remain with us through them, granting us help, strength and protection.

Allahumma inni as’alukal-‘afwa wal-‘afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah. 🤲🏻

📍 Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

Recovery begins with meeting the most basic needs of disaster-affected communities. In temporary shelters, access to proper bedding is essential to protect physical health and support well-being in the aftermath of a crisis.

In late August, Human Initiative delivered essential bedding kits to communities affected by the earthquake in Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara. These kits provide basic protection and comfort, allowing survivors to rest with greater dignity during the early stages of the emergency response.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our global community of supporters for your trust and generosity. Your solidarity enables our humanitarian response to reach people who need it most, when it matters most.
