For many families in remote parts of Indonesia, Qurbani meat is something they rarely get to enjoy. In Krayan Bahagia, East Kalimantan, 80 families finally received Qurbani meat again after a decade without it. The joy was unforgettable.

Those were the words spoken by the children of Oebelo Village, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, after experiencing Qurbani in 2024.

In a village where only around 18 out of nearly 1,000 households are Muslim, many families only eat meat during special community occasions. Even the livestock they raise are often sold to meet daily needs, leaving little for themselves to enjoy.

That warmth still stays in their hearts today.

Hidden in a remote part of West Seram, many families here live with limited access to food, infrastructure, and basic services. For some children, meat is not something they regularly see on the dinner table.

But behind the hardship are people with strong faith, resilience, and hope for a better future.

“Neither their meat nor blood reaches Allah, but what reaches Him is piety from you.”

The Day of Arafah is a moment when millions of hearts turn back to Allah 🤍

It is the day of forgiveness, mercy, and sincere du’a. A day when the prayer of the Prophets continues to echo through the lips of believers around the world:

“La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamd, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer.”

“There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He has power over all things.”
