Day Two at the AIBS Western Australia Conference 2026 continued the conversation around some of the biggest technical and regulatory challenges shaping the built environment.

Today’s sessions explored:
✔ legal and liability considerations
✔ mandatory inspections and workplace health and safety requirements
✔ sustainability in construction materials
✔ Standards Australia updates
✔ anchor compliance and specialist disability accommodation

Thank you to the many industry leaders and technical experts who shared their insights throughout the day, including representatives from BAICOL, KelledyJones Lawyers, InfraBuild, Standards Australia, Hilti, Marsh and Access Right Inclusive Accessibility Solutions.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was hearing from former Australian Test & ODI cricketer Brad Hogg, who shared valuable insights on leadership, resilience and high performance.
