A big week of action for Surveyors Australia.
Advocacy. Standards. Workforce. Education. CPD. International engagement.
This week we continued advocacy on proposed tax and budget changes, progressed work on mutual recognition and the Surveying Award review, attended a Jobs and Skills Australia roundtable on lifelong learning, and advanced clearer pathways for overseas qualified practitioners.
We were also confirmed by the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria as an accredited training provider able to allocate and advertise Victorian CPD points.
Internationally, Surveyors Australia represented Australia at FIG Congress in Cape Town, contributing to conversations on AI, professional practice, cadastral digitisation, women’s land rights and young surveyors.
Congratulations to Ezra Miller from NSW, who was recognised as a Foundation winner through the Young Surveyors Network.
This is what momentum looks like.
A connected profession. A national voice. Practical action.
Join Surveyors Australia and help shape the future of the profession.
