Ethics teaching is a wonderful example of peer support in action. We have always valued and encouraged collaboration across school teams, creating opportunities for volunteers to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen their practice together.

How lovely to see Judi(L) and Lisa(R), our volunteers in the Forest area catching up over a coffee.
Judi is currently a regular ethics teacher at her school in The Forest . She is trying out some relief teaching at Lisa's school in Gordon.
This was after Judi's first relief lesson last week.

Thanks both for sharing!

SUPPORT ETHICS CLASSES IN YOUR LOCAL SCHOOL

Our volunteer-led program reaches almost 2000 classes in public schools each week. It isn’t enough.

Critical thinking has a crucial role in creating a brighter tomorrow. By empowering young minds to ask big questions, engage in thoughtful discussions and tackle ethical dilemmas, we prepare them to navigate and redefine the complexities of the world they’re growing into.

By nurturing these capabilities today, we’re cultivating a generation that will thrive in the AI age and steer it toward a more inclusive and ethical future.
We need your help to do it. Primary Ethics is powered by volunteers and supporter generosity.

What a wonderful day at the Centre for Volunteering Expo!

The Primary Ethics area manager team — all volunteers themselves — came away inspired, energised, and full of new ideas. It was a great opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about making a difference in their communities.

Our biggest takeaway? The real strength of volunteer organisations lies in our people. It's the relationships we build, the conversations we have, and the shared sense of purpose that bring our work to life.

Every volunteer brings their own experiences, skills, and generosity, and when those contributions come together, they create something far greater than the sum of its parts.

Thank you to the Centre for Volunteering for this fab day and to everyone we met along the way. We left with fresh insights, new connections, and a renewed appreciation for the power of community.
