Never a hedge too high for our Help at Home team!
Our client could no longer safely reach their overgrown hedge, so our trusted team stepped in to give it a much-needed trim, creating a light filled, tidier garden space they can enjoy once again 🌿

Our working bee volunteer team was busy planting at the 5 Senses Garden, helping to keep this special space thriving for our community and native wildlife 🌱🌸
Thanks to a community grant from the City of Canada Bay , we’re able to continue growing and caring for the garden as a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. The latest improvements also include a new and improved bee and insect hotel, providing a home for beneficial insects and helping boost biodiversity and pollination throughout the garden 🐝

Our Living Well with Dementia group recently visited Auburn Botanic Gardens and were delighted to see the first blossoms of the season beginning to bloom! 🌸🌸🌸
The program brings together people living with dementia and their carers for shared experiences, connection and time spent enjoying the community together- a beautiful day to get outdoors and welcome the first signs of spring! 🌱

Our 'Double Denim' team building day took us on a mystery trip out of Sydney to the beautiful Southern Highlands! 👖🚐
We loved exploring the historic Golden Vale Homestead, led by former Neighbour Aid team member Nick, before finishing the day with a delicious lunch in Bowral- a wonderful day of team connection, good food and a little adventure 🌈

Our Garden Aid team recently cleared a courtyard overrun with weeds, creating a safe and welcoming outdoor space once again for a client with mobility issues 🌱
The Garden Aid program helps older people continue living safely and independently in their own homes by taking care of garden tasks they can no longer manage, making outdoor spaces safer and easier to enjoy once again 💜

We’re extremely proud of our multigenerational programs with students from Rivendell School, MLC School, Sydney and Ashfield Boys High School who generously give their time to support our clients, build meaningful connections and make a difference in our community 💜

We took some time to slow down, reflect and connect with nature, then put our thoughts and feelings into colour- a lovely way to spend time together, surrounded by creativity and the beauty of the garden 🌸

Our Gardening programs are carried out by qualified staff members who are able to ensure the garden is kept safe and tidy to help people live safely in their own homes.
