Bettongia Environmental Foundation

Bettongia Environmental Foundation is a non-profit organisation established to provide support to environmental and conservation projects, and research into medical advancement. The organisation has actively supported the following organisations and projects:

- assisted the Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) in the purchase of land of high conservation value in NSW, QLD, NT and WA.

- provide

d major funding for the building and establishment of a research laboratory at Scotia Sanctuary (AWC), western NSW. On-site scientific research and analysis can now be done on the following endangered species, allowing AWC to manage their survival and reintroduction:

* Boodie (Burrowing Bettong)
* Bridled Nailtail Wallaby
* Bilby
* Mala (Rufous Hare-wallaby)
* Greater Stick-nest rat
* Numbat

- provided funding to Taronga Zoo, Sydney, through the active sponsorship of a number of endangered animals, and the building of new facilities to assist in the protection and research of those animals.
