All the control flags have now been hung and participant info packs sent out for this weekend’s event.

Created by NSW SES Bush Search and Rescue Unit to test and train emergency services in wilderness navigation, this “no-gps device” event promotes traditional map and compass navigation, off-track route finding, team work and bushcraft skills, across rugged and remote terrain.

With 479 participants drawn from NSW SES NSW Police Force Blue Mountains Police Rescue - NSW Police Force Rescue & Bomb Disposal - NSW Police Force VRA Rescue NSW - SORU NSW Ambulance NSW Rural Fire Service Bushwalking NSW Scouts Australia and many more, we can promise a diverse and interesting course that includes some surprises like this!

The multi-agency search for 18-year-old Lily Hooper continues in Nattai National Park for its sixth day.

About 200 NSW SES members have assisted in the search since Wednesday, including specialised Bush Search and Rescue teams who've searched through the night and camped out in remote parts of the national park.

Lily was last seen wearing a shirt and shorts, and her vehicle was located near the Bonnum Pic Walking Trail in the National Park.

⚠️ Anyone who sees her is urged to contact The Hume Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
