Tamarama SLSC is a volunteer Surf Lifesaving Club.

We patrol Tamarama beach on weekends and public holidays from September to April each year.

Tamarama week in review:
🏆 Our education team won the club's first ever State award at the Surf Life Saving NSW Awards of Excellence
🌊 Our Inclusive Swim & Social series returned with a stunning day in the water for women and gender diverse people
☀️ Tama showed up and crushed it at North Bondi SLSC (Est. 1906)'s Enduro. Congrats to our very own Sofia for topping the leaderboard this week and Josh Clarke 5th overall

Over 9 weeks you’ll get nationally recognised surf rescue training, get fitter than you’ve ever been, and meet your future besties. Three new IRB Drivers ready to hit the water! 🚤🌊

A massive congratulations to Ethan, Ross and Christian on successfully completing their IRB Driver Course. With three new qualified drivers joining the team, we’re even better equipped to keep our beautiful beach and community safe this season.

Well done, legends! We can’t wait to see you out on the water. 👏💙

💙 EOFY Donation Appeal 💙

As we wrap up another busy season at Tamarama SLSC, we're asking our community to help support the work that happens both on and off the beach.

Every donation helps fund lifesaving training, equipment, water safety education and our Nippers program, giving our volunteers the resources they need to keep our beach safe.

Tamarama SLSC is a registered charity, and donations made before 30 June are tax deductible.

🧠🌊 Salty Brains Trivia Night is coming to Tamarama SLSC!

Sunday 31 May | 4–5:30pm | Tamarama SLSC Clubhouse

Think surf, ocean life, climate — and a few curveballs. No expertise required, just bring your mates and have a go.
Raffle prizes on the night 🎉

Ever wondered what it actually takes to become a lifesaver at Tamarama? 🛟🐢

Now you can, our bronzies have just graduated and will shortly join our patrols as surf life savers 🫶🤗

Over 7 weeks, our bronzies have:
🏃‍♀️ Trained their beach + ocean skills
📚 Completed self-paced learning modules
🚩 Put in the hours with a 5-hour shadow patrol
⛑ Attended full-day First Aid & Advanced Resus training
🌊 Taken on optional ocean swims + rescue board sessions

And on top of that?
These legends have shown up week after week with energy, grit and a whole lot of heart 💛❤️

This is no small feat — and we couldn’t be prouder. A massive congratulations to our bronzies for their tireless effort and dedication 👏🔥

If you’re keen to join this amazing community. Don’t fret, we’ll also be running a Spring Medallion course later this year 🌊💙
