โOn World Youth Skills Day, we recognise the energy, skill and commitment young people bring to shaping a better future.
Through our Global Footprints Scholarship program, young Australians working in horticulture, agriculture and trades gain international experience and bring that learning home to create real, lasting impact.
They are introducing new techniques, strengthening sustainable practices, improving how we grow, build and manage our landscapes, and sharing their knowledge with others. Many go on to mentor apprentices, support local businesses and contribute to more resilient, future-focused industries.
Their impact is seen in stronger communities, more sustainable industries and a healthier environment.
We believe deeply in the potential of young people, and in the importance of investing in skills that will shape the future of our industries and our country.
So to all our scholars, both past and present, today we celebrate and applaud you, and we are incredibly proud of the impact you are making.โ
