💚 LABASANS CARPET APPEAL IS NOW OPEN

Vunimoli Jame Masjid in Labasa is one of the early masjids established in the 1960s, serving the local Muslim community for generations.

The masjid is now in need of new carpets, and Labasans Australia Fiji is opening the pledge line to help make this happen, InshaAllah.

🤲 Every contribution counts. Let’s come together to give this historic masjid new carpets for our elders, families and future generations.

With heavy heart, we announce the untimely passing away of brother RIYAZ FEROZ KHAN of Labasa, former employee of Coral Coast/ Coastal Rentals Sigatoka .Son of Maskin Khan of Valebasoga Labasa, only brother of Mumtaz Nisha Nazmul Ishrar brother in law of Mohammed Ishrar and Hamid,Mona Iqbal (NZ), cousin of Rehana Yasmin, Unaisi Dimana Gafoor Abdul Junior Seema Arif and beloved husband of Poly Sami and abba of Shania, Rehaan and Humaira.

Marhoom was grandson of Mohammed Yakub Tanku of Valebasoga, nephew of Gafoor Nadar and Tahir Pall Mall, beloved Mamu of Salman, Irfaan, Aaliyah,

Janaza will leave from Maskin Khan residence in Valebasoga to Basoga Cemetery today (31st August, 2026) @ 1:30 pm.
Janaza time 2.00pm today.

We kindly ask everyone to keep our beloved brotherin your duas and pray that Allah ﷻ forgives his and has mercy upon him, illuminates and expands his grave, grants him Jannatul Firdaus, and accepts him among the righteous.

اللهم اغفر لها وارحمها وأسكنها فسيح جناتك

May Allah ﷻ grant Sabr-e-Jameel to our entire family and give us strength and patience during this difficult time.
