It is a private charity supporting young people in regional Australia and disadvantaged communities in Zimbabwe. Sally Foundation is a Private Family Foundation established in 2013 by Mike & Geraldine Roche of Sydney. Geraldine chose the name Sally Foundation in memory of her maternal grandmother, Sally, who sailed from England in the early 1900's. Sally hailed from well-to-do family, but her new
life in rural Queensland was one of significant struggle. It was her determination, gentle ways and propensity to always see the best ins situation that provided the inspiration for the foundation. Sally Foundation is passionate about helping young people and fostering their role in the future... particularly young people in regional and rural Australia. And is working with a partner in Zimbabwe to restore health, dignity and well-being to disadvantages communities in Bulawayo.
