UAEM Sydney Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM) in Sydney

Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM) is an international student advocacy group, promoting access to essential medicines in resource-poor countries via progressive intellectual property licensing practices. It is a student-initiated, student-led private, non-profit organization focusing on equitable access to essential medicines globally. Since its establishment in 2001, it has grown

into about 90 chapters at various universities all across the world. Currently, UAEM has world-renowned scientists and Nobel laureates serving in its advisory board, and various other supporters, including for-profit and non-profit organizations.
