The Child Life Therapy team at The Children's Hospital at Westmead are currently recruiting to their New Graduate Child Life Therapist position.

- The position is full time (38 hrs/week) for 24-months.
- Includes a Child Life Therapy training package alongside face-to face clinical experience.
- The team is specifically looking for applicants who have graduated from a Bachelor of Education/Teaching Degree within the last FOUR years and who demonstrate a keen interest in developing their understanding of evidence-based practices in the Child Life Therapy field.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the ACLTA Strategic Planning Day on the weekend!

It was incredible to bring our community together for a day filled with brainstorming, big ideas, honest conversations and strategic thinking about the future of Child Life Therapy in Australia.

We loved seeing so many passionate Child Life Therapists come together, share their perspectives, challenge ideas and imagine what the future of our profession could look like.

A very special thank you to our amazing facilitator, Catharine Hydon, for guiding us through such a productive and engaging day, and to our guest keynote speaker, Stephanie Hopkinson MA, CCLS, for generously sharing her knowledge, experience and insights with us.

While the day may be over, the conversations are only beginning. There is plenty for us to continue exploring, discussing and developing together, including governance, professional recognition and the future strategic direction of Child Life Therapy in Australia.

We look forward to continuing these important conversations and sharing key outcomes, ideas and next steps with the broader ACLTA community in the coming weeks.
