As we continue to celebrate Women’s Month, women advocates from various organizations gathered for a refresher learning session led by SALIGAN, revisiting Special Laws on Children and Anti-Trafficking in Persons.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲—𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.

As laws and crimes continue to evolve, updates on laws addressing OSAEC and Trafficking in Persons ensure
that our response remains relevant, informed, and effective.

Today’s Parenting Awareness Session highlighted child rights and the powerful role of mothers as the 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 of every child. 🤍

Today, Power and Justice conducted a community session in Purok Datal Salvan, Brgy. San Jose, in partnership with the Barangay Council headed by Hon. Abdul Rahim S. Paidumama, SK Chair Charisse Papasin Barde, Purok Chairman Ping Francisco, and our dedicated OJT Community Coordinators.

Today, we had the opportunity to speak to NSTP-CWTS students of Gensantos Foundation College Inc. for their symposium on OSAEC and TIP as part of their civic consciousness commitment.

We unpacked the realities of Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Trafficking in Persons (TIP) — not just as issues “out there,” but as realities that demand awareness, vigilance, and action.

𝘾𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙘 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢. 𝙄𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚.

Capping off our National Children’s Month celebration with our annual Date with the Children in Need of Special Protection, organized by CSWDO – Community-Based Division.

We shared stories, spread hope, and handed out a small take-home souvenir specially curated for them — a simple reminder that they are valued, seen, and cared for. ✨
