Calling all Waverley College Old Boys from the Class of 1976!

You’re warmly invited to join us for Back to Waverley Day on Thursday, 5 November 2026 – a special opportunity to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about your time at the College and see how Waverley has grown and changed over the past 50 years.

The day will include Mass in the College Chapel, morning tea, a whole-school assembly and lunch with fellow Old Boys.

We look forward to welcoming the Class of 1976 back to Waverley for this memorable occasion.

Join us for the inaugural Waverley College Legends Lunch – an unforgettable afternoon of inspiring stories, sporting memories and conversation with three remarkable Australians.

Hear from Michael Cleary AO (Class of 1958), one of Australia’s most accomplished multi-sport athletes and one of only four Australians to have represented the country at senior international level in three different sports – athletics, rugby union and rugby league.

General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK AC (Mil) CVO MC (Retd) (Class of 1964) will share insights from a distinguished career in military leadership and public service, including commanding INTERFET in East Timor, serving as Chief of the Australian Defence Force and later as Governor-General of Australia.

Former Wallaby Morgan Turinui (Class of 2000) will reflect on a rugby career that saw him represent the NSW Waratahs, Queensland Reds and Wallabies, including at the 2003 Rugby World Cup, as well as his career in sports broadcasting with Stan Sport.

Hosted by Andrew Coorey (Class of 1984), the Legends Lunch promises a memorable afternoon of conversation, stories and plenty of laughs.
