🍻 WE’RE BACK! SOKOL SYDNEY IS OPEN AGAIN! 🇨🇿🇸🇰

We’ve been busy giving our much-loved Sokol a fresh new look, and we’re excited to announce that our bar is officially back open with regular opening hours! 🎉

There’s plenty to look forward to:

🍺 A completely rebuilt bar – refreshed, ready and pouring your favourite Czech b**rs!

🌿 A fresh, clean b**r garden – all tidied up, with brand-new umbrellas and plenty of space to relax and enjoy a cold drink.

🎱 A newly renovated games room – looking better than ever and ready for some friendly competition.

🚵 Mountain bikers, you’re always welcome! Heading out for a ride around the local trails? Make Sokol your post-ride stop for a well-earned refreshment and a catch-up with your riding mates.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families, friends, locals and newcomers – whether you’ve been coming to Sokol for years or have never visited before, we’d love to see you!

Most importantly, while the place has had a makeover, the friendly Sokol spirit hasn’t changed. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience and support during the renovations. We can’t wait to welcome back familiar faces, meet new friends and bring our little community together again.

SO, APPARENTLY YOU’RE COMING TO THE BALL…

You just haven’t secured your ticket yet! 😂

OK, we’ve extended bookings until Sunday and added more single tickets…there’s no excuse now!

Coming solo? Perfect! You don’t need a date or a dancing partner. We’ve got girls coming for a girls’ night out, too — and we’ll make sure there’s plenty of music for everyone to enjoy.

Worried about seating? Our seating plan isn’t finalised yet. If you’d like to sit with friends, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

And judging by the people coming, this is shaping up to be a very cool bunch. Great entertainment, good food, music, and dancing.

This is your chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.

It’s our first Czech & Slovak Ball, and we’re putting our hearts into making it a fantastic night. It’s not just about a party — it’s about supporting Sokol, celebrating our community, and bringing people together.

Ďakujeme všetkým, ktorí prišli na Krajanské stretnutie a strávili s nami krásny večer.

Veľká vďaka patrí súborom Lúčnica, Stonožka a Kukabura za nádherné vystúpenia, ako aj členom vládnej delegácie Slovenskej republiky za ich návštevu.

Teší nás, že sme sa mohli stretnúť, spoločne osláviť naše kultúrne dedičstvo a udržiavať slovenské tradície živé aj tu v Sydney.
