🐰🐥 A Fun-Filled Day with Kindifarm at Minimbah! 🐐🐾

One of our favourite annual programs returned to Minimbah, bringing along some adorable furry and feathered friends for everyone to enjoy!

Our front driveway was transformed into a little farmyard as Kindifarm brought along guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats, ducks, and ducklings. Participants took turns visiting the animals in small groups, enjoying the opportunity to gently pat, hold, and interact with them. 🐇💛

There were plenty of smiles, cuddles, and even some brave moments, with a few participants feeling comfortable enough to have chickens perched right on them! 🐔😄

Kindifarm is always a much-loved experience at Minimbah, providing wonderful opportunities for hands-on learning, building confidence, and connecting with animals in a fun and relaxed environment.

We can't wait to welcome our furry and feathered friends back again! ❤️

A sincere thank you to Victor Serna for nominating Minimbah and to Community Bank Epping for its generous support. The funding will support arts programs designed to encourage sensory engagement through colour, texture, movement and other creative experiences for the people we support.

We are proud to be recognised by another organisation with such strong roots in our local community.

🌈🎨 What a colourful day out! 🎨🌈

Our participants and staff had an amazing time at Colour Fun Day at Hayes Oval, Galston Recreation Reserve, hosted by Unisson Disability!

Everyone made their way around the Colour Fun course while being showered with bright, water-soluble colours along the way. With each lap, things got a little more colourful! Whether running, walking, or joining in with a wheelchair, everyone had the opportunity to take part at their own pace and enjoy the excitement. By the end, there were plenty of colourful faces, lots of laughter, and some very messy clothes! 😄🌈

After all the fun, we relaxed together in the shade and enjoyed lunch, a barbecue, and some refreshing icy treats before heading back to Minimbah.

A big thank you to Unisson Disability for hosting such a fun and inclusive event. It was a fantastic day of activity, connection, and plenty of colourful memories! ❤️💛💚💙💜

🌱🌏 Celebrating Environment Day at Minimbah! 🌏🌱

Our participants and staff came together to learn about caring for our environment through a variety of hands-on activities. The day began with planting a native tree at the front of Minimbah, along with other plants and seeds in our garden to help create a greener future.

Indoors, participants expressed their creativity by decorating paper bags and painting plant pots, creating colourful reminders of the importance of sustainability. We also enjoyed a fun and educational recycling game, where everyone worked together to sort rubbish and recyclables into the correct bins.

It was a wonderful day of learning, creativity, and environmental awareness. Every small action can make a big difference, and we're proud to be helping build a more sustainable future together. 🌿💚

Lest We Forget ❤️🌺

Last Thursday at Minimbah, we came together to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of the ANZACs. Our participants and staff took part in a meaningful parade, listened to ANZAC-themed music and the Australian National Anthem, and shared in a moment of reflection.

Our participants created beautiful wreaths, which were proudly presented and placed together as a tribute to those who served. Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed working together to prepare a delicious barbecue and share a meal together.

A special day of remembrance, respect, and community.
