🎭✨ Special Character Day at Minimbah! ✨🎭

Our participants and staff had a fantastic time dressing up as some of their favourite characters and showing off their creativity and imagination!

The day was filled with plenty of smiles as everyone posed for photos in our photo booth, enjoyed dancing together, and joined in a variety of fun indoor games.

It was wonderful to see so many colourful costumes, big personalities, and happy moments shared throughout the day. A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make Special Character Day such a fun and memorable celebration! 💛

🌏🎉 Celebrating Multicultural Day at Minimbah! 🎉🌏

Our centre was filled with colour, culture, and connection as participants and staff came together to celebrate the many backgrounds that make our Minimbah community so special.

Everyone proudly wore traditional clothing, enjoyed a vibrant cultural parade, and shared traditional dances that showcased the richness of different cultures. Staff also gave presentations about their cultural heritage, providing a wonderful opportunity to learn about traditions, customs, and stories from around the world.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious selection of traditional foods generously prepared and shared by our staff, giving everyone a chance to experience flavours from different cultures.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a meaningful celebration of diversity, inclusion, and community. Together, we celebrate what makes each of us unique while recognising the values that bring us together. ❤️

🌱🌏 Celebrating Environment Day at Minimbah! 🌏🌱

Our participants and staff came together to learn about caring for our environment through a variety of hands-on activities. The day began with planting a native tree at the front of Minimbah, along with other plants and seeds in our garden to help create a greener future.

Indoors, participants expressed their creativity by decorating paper bags and painting plant pots, creating colourful reminders of the importance of sustainability. We also enjoyed a fun and educational recycling game, where everyone worked together to sort rubbish and recyclables into the correct bins.

It was a wonderful day of learning, creativity, and environmental awareness. Every small action can make a big difference, and we're proud to be helping build a more sustainable future together. 🌿💚

What an exciting Sports Day at Minimbah! 🏅🎉

Even with the wet weather, our participants and staff brought incredible energy and teamwork to a fun-filled day of activities. From obstacle courses and ten pin bowling to parachute games, badminton, balloon challenges, and stacking cup competitions, there was something for everyone to enjoy across all of Minimbah!

Participants cheered each other on throughout the day, showing fantastic sportsmanship, determination, and team spirit. Congratulations to all of our award winners and to everyone who gave their best effort and joined in the fun. 💪✨

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for organising such a memorable day for everyone!

Lest We Forget ❤️🌺

Last Thursday at Minimbah, we came together to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of the ANZACs. Our participants and staff took part in a meaningful parade, listened to ANZAC-themed music and the Australian National Anthem, and shared in a moment of reflection.

Our participants created beautiful wreaths, which were proudly presented and placed together as a tribute to those who served. Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed working together to prepare a delicious barbecue and share a meal together.

A special day of remembrance, respect, and community.

Easter celebrations were in full swing at Minimbah! 🐣🌸🥚

Our participants and staff enjoyed a day full of laughter and friendly competition—from our colourful Easter Parade and best hat competition, to a classic egg and spoon race that kept everyone on their toes!

The excitement continued with an Easter egg hunt across different areas of Minimbah, and the best part… swapping those eggs for delicious chocolates at the end! 🍫✨

A joyful day filled with fun, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. 💛
