An international recognition for a remarkable contribution to natural health 🏆🌎🌿

We are delighted to celebrate Tracey Seipel, proud recipient of a 2026 IWEC Universal Award.

With more than 35 years of experience across clinical practice, research, education and product development, Tracey has established an internationally recognised career spanning naturopathy, medical herbalism, clinical nutrition and diabetes education.

Her work in product research, development and formulation has seen her collaborate with leading pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies across Australasia, with formulations developed through her expertise now sold globally.

Tracey has also made a lasting contribution to education. She played a key role in establishing the university-level naturopathy program at the Australian College of Natural Medicine, now Endeavour College of Natural Health, and lectured there for almost 20 years. Her educational work has also extended into medical training, with a nutrition program she authored incorporated into an Australian Medical School MBBS curriculum and later delivered at Masters level.

Internationally recognised for her work in healthy ageing and bladder health innovation, Tracey has received multiple global industry awards and contributed a chapter on lower urinary tract symptoms to the fifth edition of Pizzorno and Murray’s Textbook of Natural Medicine.

As Founder, President and CEO of Seipel Group, she continues to lead research and innovation in natural health, bringing together extensive clinical experience, scientific knowledge and a strong commitment to evidence-based, holistic care.

Lead With Integrity | Sustainability

Sustainability asks more of us than good intentions.

Our second Forum panel in Hobart explored what happens when sustainability is considered not simply as an ambition, but through the lens of integrity, accountability and action.

Sophie Ballagh opened the session with her keynote, ‘None of Us Are Clean’, offering a compelling perspective on the distance between aspiration and ex*****on.

From there, Simone de Haas moderated a discussion with Viviana Varela and Lalita Lowe, framed by the provocative question, ‘Is Sustainability Just Greenwashing?’

The conversation invited the room to look beyond declarations and consider the decisions, practices and responsibilities that give sustainability substance.

A fitting expression of the Forum’s Audacious Coherence, where values and action are brought into alignment 🌱⚖️🔗

It was a wonderful gathering of WCEI Victoria members at Canai by Roti Bar, with the evening centred around a warm welcome for Natallia Smith as she takes on the role of State Division President 🥠🥮🫖

The Annual Members’ Meeting offered an opportunity to acknowledge Christina Chia’s leadership and contribution, while welcoming Natallia and the perspective she brings to her new role.

For Natallia, this is an opportunity to lead WCEI Victoria in her own way, building on the relationships and foundations that make the Victorian division such an important part of our national membership.

We are delighted to see her step into the role and look forward to all that lies ahead for WCEI Victoria under her leadership.

A gathering of accomplished women, remarkable stories and perspectives generously shared.

Strategies for Life Stages brought WCEI New South Wales together for a considered exploration of the experiences and transitions that shape women throughout life 🌗🧠💭

Professor Selena Bartlett, Glen-Marie Frost and Nimarta Verma each brought a distinctive perspective to the conversation, sharing experiences of resilience, reinvention, wellbeing and personal change. Janine Garner guided the discussion with warmth, insight and her ability to draw out the stories behind the subject.

We were delighted to welcome WCEI National President Liz Ward, alongside our NSW members and guests, creating a wonderful sense of occasion within the beautiful surroundings of Alteris Women.

From the conversation to the company, the evening reflected the generosity of spirit and breadth of experience that make WCEI gatherings so distinctive.

WCEI is delighted to shine a light on Eve Nelson, whose career has been shaped by a thoughtful belief in the value of people and the cultures in which they work.

As Managing Director of Red Bridge HR, workplace investigator and People and Culture specialist, Eve brings more than 15 years of experience helping organisations navigate the complexities of people management, workplace relations and organisational change 🧠 🎯 🌱

Her work spans employee training, workplace investigations, performance management, talent acquisition and culture transformation. What distinguishes Eve's approach is the balance she brings to each of these areas, combining strategic and data-informed thinking with a genuine understanding of the human experience within an organisation.

Eve also works closely with business owners and executive teams through periods of change, succession planning and organisational development, helping leaders build the skills and confidence needed to create stronger workplace cultures.

Her contribution extends beyond her professional practice. Eve serves as a Board Member of MADE and a Committee Member of the Athenaeum Club Hobart, while also mentoring emerging HR professionals and regularly sharing her knowledge through speaking and writing.

A Conversation at the Intersection of Science and Creativity

The National Annual Forum began with a powerful exploration of what it means to build with intelligence 📐🪶🕸️

Bringing together science, creativity, design and systems thinking, our first panel considered the influence women can have in shaping the environments, structures and decisions that surround us.

Suzanne Bosanquet, our panel keynote speaker, opened with ‘You’re Living in Someone Else’s Decisions’, inviting the room to look more closely at the decisions embedded within the spaces and systems we inhabit.

👥🧭 Moderated by Simone de Haas, the discussion continued with Deborah Wace and Angela Pelizzari, followed by an audience Q&A that brought the wider Forum community into the conversation.

A thoughtful beginning to three days in Hobart, and a strong expression of Audacious Coherence from the very first session.

What a remarkable year for WCEI Victoria under the leadership of our outgoing State Division President, Christina Chia.

It was a year filled with achievement, growth, friendship and joy. Under Christina’s leadership, WCEI Victoria delivered WCEI Australia’s inaugural 2025 National Forum and Awards Gala Dinner, welcomed new members and created meaningful opportunities for women to connect, learn, collaborate and celebrate one another.

Highlights ranged from netwalking in the Royal Botanic Gardens to an exclusive Cartier exhibition experience at the NGV, reflecting Christina’s commitment to creating a vibrant and engaged community where women could build genuine relationships and support one another’s success.

Although Christina’s term as Victorian President is coming to an end, her commitment to WCEI and everything it stands for will continue.

As our mantra reminds us: “Alone we are invisible; together we are invincible.”

Thank you, Christina, for your leadership, energy and dedication to strengthening the WCEI community.
