It is with great sadness, that I share Greg Warren’s post. Uncle Ivan showed incredible commitment and love for his community, and as a result was loved and respected by many. At Sector Connect we have crossed paths many a times, working on issues that were important for improving the lives of First Nations people, and valued the leadership that Uncle Ivan provided. We would like to send our deepest sympathy to Uncle Ivan’s family, friends and community. The world was truely a better place having had you in it. RIP Uncle.

It’s with great sadness to advise the passing of our beloved Uncle Ivan Wellington, who passed away peacefully this morning at 3:45 am surrounded with love.

Like many of you, I’m heartbroken by this news but I’m comforted by the countless memories of love, care and devotion Uncle Ivan had for all of us, our community and our proud Aboriginal culture and heritage.

Rest in peace Uncle, you will be forever loved and missed, but never forgotten with your legacy of love for us, our community, Campbelltown and our region - as we too will forever love you.

Last week, our Director enjoyed the opportunity to get away from her desk and visit one of the fabulous groups we auspice, Campbelltown Community Garden. All volunteers, they pull together and do an amazing job, teaching and keeping many people fed in the Campbelltown region. Sadly, they have had some challenges with theft of fruit trees, so at the moment keeping the venue secure is a major priority. That is a wrap! Thank you to everyone who joined us at , , and .
