Imaginate. Create. Innovate. Imaginate. imaginate. came about after our team participated in the Hatchery entrepreneurial program at UTS.

We’re focused on community & building relationships in the creative sector by running ‘Creative Jam’ events that link creative students with industry. We began with the opportunity space of bringing more value to the arts, and through research identified the major problem was the disconnect between creative students and industry. Through further research and testing, we decided to look at how we m

ight increase collaboration between creative students and industry, because not only was it important for students to develop connections with industry but also with their peers, as students are the future of the industry. We arrived at our solution after users emphasised the importance of a non-competitive, collaborative environment where they could create and gain real-world experience while connecting with industry. Our solution is to run a series of Creative Jams that would connect creative students from various disciplines across universities with the creative industries. Through these Creative Jams, students and industry will work together on real problems facing the creative industries, which will empower students and prepare them for the workforce, while the industry will have access to fresh voices to work on their creative problems.
