Beatbox Battle World Championships in held Germany. The roots of the Beatbox Australia started in 2008 but the first successful Australian championship was held in Sydney 2010. Beatboxer 'Genesis' was sent to represent the country in Berlin at the, 2011 Beatbox Battle World Championships. This was the first officially judged and ranked Australian Beatbox Championship recognized at worlds! The initial attempt for BBA lost momentum after a lack of funding, sponsors and with no active board members since the 2010 champs. Thankfully Beatbox Australia was revived in November 2012 by Terry Evgeniadis better known as Spillage. After finding a fresh batch of representatives with a crazy desire for beatboxing to expand in Australia.
