Join our Filmmaking Workshop, led by Angela Blake from SF3!

Deaf Festival Sydney 🎉

Over the weekend, John Lui, National Manager for Hear For You, headed to Deaf Festival Sydney, running a stall to highlight our Hear For You programs for deaf teens, delivered by deaf people who've been there.

The turnout was fantastic. Great weather, great crowds, and plenty of fun with our "guess the lollies in the jar" competition.

It was a wonderful opportunity to meet families and share more about the programs and workshops we offer teens, from filmmaking to drama workshops, tree top challenges and art classes, and everything in between.

New Brisbane Life Goals and Skills Metro Program dates are here!

This program, designed for teens who are deaf or have hearing loss, is all about building confidence, developing practical life skills, and making meaningful friendships in a fun and supportive environment.

Across four engaging sessions, participants will try new activities, connect with peers, step outside their comfort zones, and build practical skills they can use in everyday life.

They'll also be supported by mentors who are deaf or have hearing loss, sharing lived experience, insights, and strategies along the way.
