VVT Australia VVT Australia is dedicated to Valvettithurai Tamil Diaspora living in Australia. The population is mainly minority Sri Lankan Tamils of Hindu or Catholic faith.

Valvettithurai or VVT (Tamil: வல்வெட்டித்துறை) is a small coastal village on the northeast coast of the Jaffna Peninsula in Sri Lanka's north. The main industry is farming, fishing and trading. The town is near a rivlet called Thondaiman Aru. The mouth of the river has the popular Hindu temple dedicated to Murugan called Selva Sannithy.
