AGM -2024

Awesome weekend away at Coorongooba campground which is approx. 40km from Capertee.

The weather was awesome , warm during the day and cooler at night. A small troupe of Triple Diamonders arrived around 5pm on Friday night, fortunately we brought firewood with us allow us an easy set up closely followed by dinner and done bush tele…

Saturday saw a very easy morning , it was so nice to make Coffee then sit around for a few hours chatting in the magnificent campground. Prior to lunch 3 vehicles left the national park in search of firewood… 25kms later we found a fire wood honey hole and the chainsaws were brought out cutting up some sensational fire wood we found by the side of the road and not in national parks or private property.

Back to camp for free sausage sizzle for club members which then led into the general meeting and AGM. Great meeting/s were had and which led into club sponsored 5’sives and a massive fire for all to enjoy.

Daz and Selina ran a trivia and quiz night which was highly entertaining 😭 thankyou for all of your efforts.

Sun morning the club provided an awesome breakfast… this year we mixed things up and made pan cakes with home made berry compote with yogurt + fancy granola and fresh fruit , cereals and toppings … everyone bellies were left very full !!

Welcome to all new committee members and thankyou all all members who are stepping away this year.

Special thanks goes to Nat for arranging everything this weekend and huge thankyou for all the helpers make this weekend so special .

Awesome wend away with a great 4wd club !!

This long weekend a troup of Triple Diamond Members completed a quick trip to the spectacular Victorian High Country.
We left early on Friday morning collecting members at pheasants nest , Goulburn & Albury.
From Albury we travelled in convoy to Dargo which is central to Victorian High Country .
This was to be our base for 3 night while we completed day trips touring iconic track including Crooked River Track , Billies Goat Bluff and Blue Rag.
Over the weekend we’re subjected to just about every weather condition Mother Nature could throw at us … rain / fog / sun & mist. We missed the snow by 1 day as we arrived home on Tuesday night with the news showing pictures of Snow at Mt Hotham.

With the weather predicting 20-40mm of rain on Monday night , we decided to sensably bug out from the high country to Bright.

Huge thanks to our Trusty Trip leader Craig Watts for organising this trip , super well organised and an awesome time had by all .

Do your self a favour and check out this iconic location .

Last night our club members were treated to an awesome presentation from Toyo Tyres Australia at our general meeting.

Steven Burke spent an evening explaining the differences between all the various tyres types that Toyo produce; relevant off road applications and tyre construction principles of their products.

Thankyou Steve for an excellent presentation 🙌
