The ACCF supports healthcare needs in children’s hospitals through targeted fundraising. With strong ties to Australian and Croatian communities, the foundation focuses on helping children’s hospitals in both countries.

🇭🇷🤝🇦🇺 Calling on our CroCham community for support

We’ve been contacted by a small group of highly motivated pharmacy students from Croatia who are seeking assistance with securing a one-month community pharmacy placement in Sydney (August 2026) as part of the Erasmus+ programme.

They have already completed international professional traineeships across Europe and Asia, and their proposed placement in Australia is fully funded, with no financial obligation for the host pharmacy. Working hours are flexible, and administrative requirements are minimal.

Despite extensive outreach, they have not yet been able to secure a suitable placement and are now turning to our community for help.

If you:
• Work in or are connected to a community pharmacy
• Are part of the healthcare or pharmacy sector
• Know someone who may be open to mentoring or hosting students

We would love to hear from you. Any guidance, connections, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Last week, we had the honor of welcoming Professors Aksamovic and Šimunović from the Faculty of Law at JJ Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia.

They provided valuable insights into the advantages, challenges, and options for establishing a company in Croatia. Additionally, they introduced the support services offered by the university’s law clinic to assist foreigners in starting operations in Croatia.
