Right now, 7 children in a home in Indonesia don’t have sponsors.
They’re full of life and joy… but without support, basics like food, education and clothing become uncertain.

We recently spent time with them, and honestly, their spirit stayed with us.
The way they welcomed us, their openness, their joy… these are incredible kids.

They’re not invisible.
They’re known. They’re loved. And they’re waiting.

Such a special afternoon in Bali!

Recently, Beth and I were blessed to visit our project partner, where children from three Kids Clubs came together for a beautiful afternoon of connection and fun.

We spent the time playing games, painting, and singing together—simple moments, but full of laughter and life. We also had the joy of sharing special gifts with the children, which made the day even more memorable.

We’re so grateful for the incredible local team in Bali. They are doing a fantastic job creating safe, loving spaces where children are seen, valued, and encouraged every day.

A lady recently graduated from our tailoring school program and wrote us this note...

“I am from a very poor family. My husband spent all our money on alcohol and drugs and used to abuse me and my children. I had no hope and even thought of ending my life.

Then one of my neighbours told me about this tailoring school. I joined this tailoring training. The last 6 months changed my life. I learned most of the designs and am confident to start a business in my village. Today I am happy, confident, and alive again. This training saved me and gave me a future.”

Soon, we will begin another tailoring school where 20 more ladies will learn and be equipped to care for themselves and their children with dignity and hope. We can make these women and their needs visible.

Hundreds of thousands of children are born every day.

Some into opportunity.
Others into struggle that will shape their entire life.

But this isn’t just an idea.

It’s a child.

A child who, through no fault of their own, was born into circumstances that have already decided so much for them.
No safe home.
No access to education.
No safe drink from the tap
No one to advocate for their future.

Too often invisible.

While here in our country, a child of the same age is learning to ride a bike, going to school, wearing new cool clothes, dreaming about who they might become…

This child is simply trying to survive.

We often talk about a “level playing field.”

But for some children, the field doesn’t exist at all.

Their story was narrowed long before they could choose it.

And yet - this is where hope enters.

Because while none of us chose where we were born…
we can choose what we do with that reality.

We can choose to step into someone else’s story.
To bring care where there was none.
To help create a future that once felt impossible.

Not for millions.

But for one child.

And then another.

You may never meet the child.
But your kindness can change the course of their life.

Our team to the home we support in Sumatra has been having a great time. Games, tote bag decorating, singing and cooking! It was an honour to share in the church that the children attend.
